Silber
Rita
Silber, born in Belgium, graduated from Bar-Ilan University
in 1973 with a degree in Literature and Jewish History. She
is a professional licensed guide with 10 years of experience
guiding Jewish religious groups on tours in Europe, Poland,
America and the Far East. Rita also works as a guide at the
Yad Vashem museum and speaks 7 languages. A resident of Tel
Aviv, Rita is married and the mother of 3 children. |

Agi
Kaufman
Agi
is a graduate of T.E.F.L University in English literature and
worked as an English teacher for over 9 years She is a licensed
tour guide in Israel and travels with many of the Shai Bar Ilan
groups around the world. Agi is married and lives in Ashkelon. |

Sondervan
David
was born in Belgium and grew up in Amsterdam and is an architect
by training. In 1980, he became an Israeli Government licensed
Tourist Guide, authorized to guide incoming groups in 5 languages
and then earned his license to guide groups outside of Israel
to different destinations. He has traveled with religious groups
to Europe, Morocco, India & Nepal, China and Thailand, as
well as: Australia & New Zealand. David is married and lives
in Kfar Sava. |

Jacob
Shoshan
Born
in Jerusalem, Jacob is a licensed tour guide in Israel. He is
also a teacher and lecturer for Tour Guide College – Hebrew
University (a joint program with The Hebrew Union College, Jerusalem),
Tel Aviv University, and Everyman’s University, Tel Aviv.
Jacob is also a Senior Tour Director & Lecturer for the
Geographical Society, Israel.
Mr. Shoshan is one of AJCongress’ most celebrated and
leading Tour Managers. He has visited 98 countries and led tours
in 65 countries on all 6 continents. He is fluent in 15 languages
and presents in-depth discussions on Jewish History, Philosophy
and Culture as part of his escorting responsibilities. His background
covers Holocaust Studies, Sephardi Jewish Heritage and Jewish
Musicology. And, almost as important, Jacob’s personality
is warm, nurturing and caring. A truly amazing and special person!
Jacob is a member of IATM (International Association of Tour
Managers).
