Twin and/or Double bedded rooms with private facilities. Tour Operator reserves the right to substitute.

CRUISES

All accommodations are standard outside cabins unless otherwise indicated. Choice of decks not available. All shore excursions included. All Cruise Lines reserve the right to substitute boats or alter itineraries should circumstances necessitate.

THIRD BED IN ROOM

There Are No Triple Rooms Available. Triple rates, when a third bed (rollaway) is added to room for tour participants, are available at some facilities upon request. We Do Not Recommend Such Accommodations For Adults. Children’s rates available upon request.

MEALS

All meals as indicated on each itinerary. Lunches or dinners when includedat hotels or restaurants are Table d’Hote (unless otherwise indicated) and limitedto specific dining rooms at hotels. Meals aboard cruises are provided according to cruise line standards.

SIGHTSEEING

By comfortable, guided cars, microbus, minibus, or motorcoach. While the best available air-conditioned vehicles have been contracted for all tours, during summer seasons, certain areas may experience extremely high temperatures, limiting the air-conditioning capabilities of utilized vehicles. There are no refunds if such circumstances arise, which is beyond the control of the Tour Operator. Private car tours utilize a variety of vehicles in accordance with the standards within each destination.

Please Note: As our tours are “guaranteed,” during certain seasons they may operate with fewer passengers than what would normally constitute a “group.” While many passengers consider this a definite advantage, there are others who do prefer to travel in larger groups. Tours that combine several destinations may have a different number of participants in each country. We will be happy to advise you of the approximate number of passengers booked on your tour, if you contact us 30 days in advance of your departure. However, please bear in mind that often the passenger count may fluctuate up until arrival date in each destination.

Note: Passengers departing on evening flights are advised to purchase an additional nights accommodations as late checkouts are rarely granted. Hotel checkout is after 12:00 Noon.

SEQUENCE OF TOUR PROGRAMS

All departures listed in this brochure are Guaranteed as indicated on each program. However, cruise lines may cancel certain sailings which is beyond our control, as well as internal flights. In the event that the Nile River level is too low for passing through the locks, cruise companies will arrange transfers for passengers to sites beyond the lock. During certain periods of conventions, congresses, holidays, major monument renovations and other unforeseen events, the Tour Operator may have to make last minute changes (subsequent to issuance of final itinerary) in the sequence of the tour and reserves the right to make appropriate substitutions to any of the inclusions in the tour program.

MAJOR HOLIDAYS

Ramadan: Aug 21–Sep 20, ’09. During this holy month, observant Muslims may not eat, drink or smoke from dawn to sunset. A 3-day festival celebrates the end of the long fast. Some shops may close on certain days during this period.

TRANSFERS & PORTERAGE

Transfers to/from airports, hotels and ports are included as indicated in the published itinerary, provided passengers’ days of arrival and departure coincide with their published tour. Alterations to the itineraries result in supplements for private transportation and touring services. Luggage carts will be available inside the terminals for passengers to proceed to the awaiting car or bus where porterage services will commence.

GENERAL AIR INFORMATION

AIR TRANSPORTATION

Included where indicated, subject to availability at time of booking. Contracted net fares in effect at time of planning (Aug 2008), are used for routing as indicated for each tour program. Due to these net fare agreements, supplements or credits for air deviations may not be equal to published airfare differentials. “Land Only” is available. Should airline schedule changes result in a necessity to alter the land arrangements, any additional expenses must be borne by the passenger.

BAGGAGE

For domestic flights in the USA, most airlines permit one piece of checked luggage and charge $25 for a second piece of checked luggage. Some airlines may impose additional charges if you choose to check any baggage. However, currently these charges do not apply to passengers who have purchased their domestic connecting flight on the same ticket as their transatlantic flight from/to the USA and are entitled to two checked pieces per person not exceeding 50lbs per piece and 62 inches total of length, width and height. Weight restrictions on some routes on inter-country or international air flights may apply. Please contact your airline or refer to its website for detailed information regarding your airline’s checked baggage policies. Airline policies vary and may change at any time. ISRAMWORLD is not responsible for any excess luggage/weight charges levied by an airline. Baggage insurance is highly recommended, as we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged luggage or personal items. Only 1 suitcase per person plus a carry-on is permitted on all tours.

DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENT (Except on Elite tours – see separate section)

A deposit of $500 per person together with optional insurance is required at the time of booking. The balance is due for land arrangements not later than 60 days prior to departure unless otherwise advised. Travel documents will be sent 2 weeks prior to departure. Late payments may necessitate overnight delivery of documents, an expense that must be borne by the passenger.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card) are accepted as payment. Credit Card charges will not be processed without a signed credit card authorization and credit card copy.

CHANGE FEE (Except on Elite tours – see sepatrate section)

Subsequent to initial reservation, any revision will incur a $25 change fee per booking for each revision up to 46 days prior to departure or all land tours up to 60 days for Nile Cruises.

Deposit, Final Payment, and Cancellation penalties may differ for special events, select Hotels and or Nile Cruises and Tour Packages, specially during heavily booked or peak periods, without prior notice imposed by the suppliers. Tour members will be advised as to the change of these Terms and Conditions, which are beyond our control.

INTER-EGYPT FLIGHTS

If cancelled less than 10 days prior to flight reservations, passengers are subject to cancellation fee of 100% of airfare.

UNUSED SERVICES

No refunds will be made for any unused services.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

Passports must be valid for 6 months from date of return. No refunds will be given to passengers failing to have proper documentation.

Egypt: Visas are required for Egypt and are included in the cost of the tours for U.S. & Canadian passports only. Visas are issued upon arrival at Cairo Intl. Airport. (Passengers arriving at other Egyptian ports of entry, or non-U.S./Canadian citizens, must obtain a visa in advance of arrival.)

Jordan: On Jordan tours, Visas are issued at Amman Airport or Port of Aqaba upon arrival and must be paid for locally. For Historic Journey, Visa permit is included provided tour is booked 1 month in advance.

ABOUT YOUR HEALTH:

ISRAMWORLD travelers should be in stable health and confident in their ability to undertake all activities on the tour chosen, in order to thoroughly enjoy the travel experience. Please be aware that on some tours it may be necessary to walk long distances in high temperatures (especially during summer months). If you require special assistance, we recommend that you travel with a responsible companion and suggest private touring at a supplement. Please speak to one of our knowledgeable reservation staff; they will be delighted to assist you in regard to the activities on the individual tours.

OUR RATES DO NOT INCLUDE:

TIPSIt is customary to show your appreciation to hotel and cruise personnel and to the guide/driver and transfer hosts on your tour. Prior to departure, you will receive an information booklet outlining suggested tipping.

LAND ONLY FEE

$50 per person handling fee for “Plus Alexandria,” “Plus Sharm el-Sheikh & St. Catherine’s Monastery,” if not in conjunction with any other Egypt tour.

AIRPORT TAXES, CUSTOMS & SECURITY FEES

Not included in rates and must be prepaid together with the airfare or locally upon departure. Fuel surcharges included are subject to change.

ITEMS OF A PERSONAL NATURE

Passports, visa fees (for non-U.S. citizens or for Jordan), baggage insurance, wines, mineral waters, coffee, tea and soft drinks are not included.

INSURANCE

We recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance before departure. Neither Isram World nor your travel agent is responsible for luggage loss or damage, accidents en route, or ill health which may require you to miss part of your trip or your return to the U.S. with the group.

RESPONSIBILITY

The Travel Agent and/or Tour Operators, Isram Wholesale Tours & Travel, Ltd. and its representatives abroad act only as agents for the various companies, owners or contractors providing the means of transportation, accommodation and other services. Isram Wholesale Tours & Travel does not own, manage, control, promote, run or operate any transportation or recreational vehicle, motel, hotel, restaurant, or any supplier of services. All exchange orders, coupons and tickets are offered subject to the General Information under which such services are offered or provided. Isram Wholesale Tours & Travel, Ltd., and its representatives assume no liability in arranging transportation, hotel and other accommodations and are not responsible for any personal injury, illness or property damage or other loss or expense of any nature whatsoever arising directly or indirectly out of any actions of any person or supplier of services providing any of the services, programs or accommodations offered in connection with a tour. Further, by participating in an Isram Wholesale Tours & Travel, Ltd. tour, you are bound by our rules and you participate in the activities of the tour at your own risk. Isram Wholesale Tours & Travel, Ltd. assumes no responsibility at all and no liability at all for any death, injury, illness, quarantine, sickness, diseases, natural disaster, damage, loss, delay, accident, expense, defect or any other abnormality which may result from your participation in any activity during the tour. The aforesaid Isram Wholesale Tours & Travel, Ltd. and/or their agents can accept no responsibility for losses or accidental expenses due, as well, to delays or changes in schedules or departures, hotel overbookings, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantines, riots or insurrections or criminal acts committed by third parties, defaults, political disorders of any type, or other such similar causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger. Each exchange coupon, order and ticket is to be regarded as one contracted on or in behalf of the particular company or person named in it. The passenger contract in use by the airline or steamship company concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract of air or steamship passage with the purchases of these tours and/or the Passenger. The airline companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The right is reserved to withdraw any tour announced in this Program and to make such alterations to the itineraries as may be found desirable for the proper carrying out of the tours. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable in the Tour Operator’s discretion to alter the arrangements or itineraries for the passenger’s comfort or welfare for any reason whatsoever, such alterations may be made without penalty to the Operator. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the Passengers. The right is reserved to decline, to accept, or retain any person as a member of any group at any time. This program is issued on the sole responsibility of the Tour Operator. It is not issued on behalf of and does not commit any Airline whose services are used in the course of the tours. It is agreed by and between the passenger(s) and Isram Wholesale Tours & Travel, Ltd. that all disputes and matters whatever arising under, in connection with or incident to this agreement shall be litigated, if at all, in and before a court located in The City of New York, New York State, U.S.A., to the exclusion of the courts of any other city, state or country. The issuance and acceptance of tickets and/or other documents in connection with a tour is considered acceptance of the above items.

SPECIAL NOTICE

Delays, cancellations and overbookings may occur on air flights, cruises, and land reservations by the participating carriers and hotel. While Isram will do everything possible to avoid these inconveniences, it cannot and will not assume responsibility for the respective carriers, hotels and cruise lines. Fares and surface arrangements are based on tariffs and currency exchange rates in effect at time of planning, Aug 2008. We reserve the right to adjust pricing upward should the value of the dollar decline by more than five (5%) percent from its value on Aug 2008. Increases in the value of the dollar will not result in a reduction in pricing, or should any fuel surcharges and entrance fees increase be imposed.
