TERMS & CONDITIONS | ITALY Deposits & Final Payments

A deposit is due within 7 days of booking date (together with optional insurance, please inquire at time of reservations). Land only Packages: $200 per person. Land Packages with Air and/or Cruise: $400 per person. Final Payments are due 45 days prior departure for Land Only packages or 90 days prior for packages with Air and/or Cruise. Payments may be made by major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card). Credit Card charges will not be processed without a signed authorization form and credit card copy.

PRICES

Prices are per person, based on double occupancy. The right is reserved to amend prices due to increases in airline/cruise fuel surcharges or currency fluctuation as all rates indicated are based on currency exchange rates at time of printing (October 01, 2006)

CHANGE FEES

$25 per revision (including spelling changes) plus any expenses imposed by suppliers. Airline amendments are subject to $50 revision fees plus airline re-booking fees of up to $250 per ticket. A change of destination constitutes a cancellation, and will be subject to full cancellation fees.

CHANGE OF DATE

Change of date is based solely upon availability. A change of date is considered a cancellation and will be obligated to the cancellation fees as listed in this section.

DOCUMENTS

Provided that full payment is received no later than your final payment due date (typically 45 days prior to departure) documents will be sent 21-14 days prior to departure.

AMENDMENTS AFTER DEPARTURE

The cost of any changes or additions will be at the local rate at the time of the amendment and must be borne by the passenger. Changes are subject to a $100 amendment fee.

AIRLINES

Once issued, tickets are non-refundable. Airline schedules and flights are subject to change without notice. All fares are subject to change and availability until such time that the ticket is booked and paid for. IsramWorld is not responsible for penalties incurred for tickets, international or domestic, due to schedule and/or flight changes. It is the passenger's responsibility to know whether the airline reserved on their behalf participates in the passenger's frequent flyer program, and to provide the information to their program administrator. Airlines reserve the right to demand immediate issuance of tickets whenever they determine that specific flights are heavily booked even when normal ticketing rules do not require tickets to be issued until a later date. In this instance, we will require immediate and full payment of the airfare and airport taxes and fees as itemized on the invoice.

BAGGAGE

Economy Class passengers may check in 2 pieces of luggage, however, the maximum weight of either bag may not exceed 50 lbs. Business Class passengers luggage may way up to 70 lbs each. Carry-on luggage is strictly limited to one per passenger with a limit of up to11 lbs. Total dimensions cannot exceed 45 inches. Domestic carriers have different baggage allowances and will charge accordingly, based on the rules of the domestic airline. Please check with your carrier for restrictions. Only 1 suitcase per person plus a carry-on is permitted on all tours.

AIRPORT TAXES, AIRLINE FUEL SURCHARGE & OTHER FEES

These taxes and fees are not included and may vary prior to airline tickets being issued. IsramWorld reserves the right to amend the airport taxes & fees to reflect any changes prior to ticketing regardless if full payment has been received.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

All rooms are standard twin-bedded rooms with private facilities, unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal standard. Triple rooms consist of standard twin beds plus a sofa/folding bed or cot for third person. Hotel check-in time is generally not before 2:00 p.m. and check-out time is prior to noon.

CRUISES

Vessel & Itinerary Changes: Cruise itineraries and ships are subject to change without notice. Furthermore, cruise ships may be chartered and/or departure dates canceled after the publication of this brochure, in which case all monies will be refunded for services which have been paid to Isram. IsramWorld takes no responsibility for ship substitutions or itinerary changes imposed by a cruise line. Cabins are assigned within a general cabin category on run-of-ship basis. Specific cabin assignments cannot be guaranteed. Cabin assignments will be made available within 30 days of departure. Requests for dining room seating will be accepted on board on sailing day. IsramWorld will accept requests for dining time preference, but cannot guarantee confirmation prior to embarkation. Shore excursions are not included and may only be purchased aboard ship.

TRANSFERS

Transfers are provided as indicated in itinerary. If you purchase a land-only tour, or if you deviate from the arrival and/or departure dates as stated in the itinerary, you will be responsible for your own transfer arrangements.

SIGHTSEEING

By comfortable, guided motor-vehicles operated by our ground handling agent, Europe At Cost (EAC) with the exception of the cruise and shore excursions which are as per the cruise line schedule and standards. Please refer to each tour package for a complete listing of tour services included. Optional tours may be conducted in more than one language. Times listed in itineraries are approximate and meant only as guidelines. We cannot guarantee the number of passengers participating on any given tour.

TOUR OPERATION

“Heart of Italy” tours are operated on a minimum of 10 passengers with escort throughout. On fewer than 10 but minimum 2 passengers, tour will be locally hosted.

TRAVELERS WITH DISABILITIES

Tour participants requiring any form of assistance are required to notify the tour operator in writing at the time of reservation, and must be accompanied by an individual responsible for providing those services. Tour managers, guides, drivers or other tour, hotel, ship personnel are not able to provide such assistance. Due to space limitations, wheelchairs and walkers cannot be taken aboard motor coaches and/or ships.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents. Passports are required to be valid for at least 6 months after the return date of travel. Non-US citizens should check with the respective consulate of the country(s) to be visited for current entry requirements and/or visas.

TRAVEL PROTECTION & INSURANCE

The cost of your trip may increase, due to personal emergencies that may affect your travel plans. We recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance before departure. Neither Isram nor your travel agent is responsible for luggage loss or damage, accidents en route, or ill health, which may require you to miss part of your trip or your return to the U.S. with the group. UNUSED SERVICES

There are no refunds for unused package tour services or features, including missed transfers due to airline changes and/or missed flights, unused meals, missed sightseeing tours, unused entrance fees, and hotel accommodations. All other customer service issues must be submitted in writing and received no later than 30 days following your return together with supporting documents.

OUR RATES DO NOT INCLUDE

Tips

It is customary to show your appreciation to hotel and cruise personnel and to the guide/driver and transfer hosts on your tour. Prior to departure, you will receive information outlining suggested tipping.

Items of a personal nature

Passports, visa fees (for non-U.S. citizens), baggage insurance, wines, mineral waters, coffee, tea and soft drinks are not included.

RESPONSIBILITY

The Travel Agent and/or Tour Operators, Isram Wholesale Tours & Travel, Ltd. and its representatives abroad act only as agents for the various companies, owners or contractors providing the means of transportation, accommodation and other services. Isram Wholesale Tours & Travel does not own, manage, control, promote, run or operate any transportation or recreational vehicle, motel, hotel, restaurant, or any supplier of services. All exchange orders, coupons and tickets are offered subject to the General Information under which such services are offered or provided. Isram Wholesale Tours & Travel, Ltd., and its representatives assume no liability in arranging transportation, hotel and other accommodations and are not responsible for any personal injury, illness or property damage or other loss or expense of any nature whatsoever arising directly or indirectly out of any actions of any person or supplier of services providing any of the services, programs or accommodations offered in connection with a tour. Further, by participating in an Isram Wholesale Tours & Travel, Ltd. tour, you are bound by our rules and you participate in the activities of the tour at your own risk. Isram Wholesale Tours & Travel, Ltd. assumes no responsibility at all and no liability at all for any death, injury, illness, quarantine, sickness, diseases, natural disaster, damage, loss, delay, accident, expense, defect or any other abnormality which may result from your participation in any activity during the tour. The aforesaid Isram Wholesale Tours & Travel, Ltd. and/or their agents can accept no responsibility for losses or accidental expenses due, as well, to delays or changes in schedules or departures, hotel overbookings, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantines, riots or insurrections or criminal acts committed by third parties, defaults, political disorders of any type, or other such similar causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger. Each exchange coupon, order and ticket is to be regarded as one contracted on or in behalf of the particular company or person named in it. The passenger contract in use by the airline or steamship company concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract of air or steamship passage with the purchases of these tours and/or the Passenger. The airline companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The right is reserved to withdraw any tour announced in this Program and to make such alterations to the itineraries as may be found desirable for the proper carrying out of the tours. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable in the Tour Operator’s discretion to alter the arrangements or itineraries for the passenger’s comfort or welfare for any reason whatsoever, such alterations may be made without penalty to the Operator. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the Passengers. The right is reserved to decline, to accept, or retain any person as a member of any group at any time. This program is issued on the sole responsibility of the Tour Operator. It is not issued on behalf of and does not commit any Airline whose services are used in the course of the tours.

It is agreed by and between the passenger(s) and Isram Wholesale Tours & Travel, Ltd. that all disputes and matters whatever arising under, in connection with or incident to this agreement shall be litigated, if at all, in and before a court located in The City of New York, New York State, U.S.A., to the exclusion of the courts of any other city, state or country. The issuance and acceptance of tickets and/or other documents in connection with a tour is considered acceptance of the above items.

SPECIAL NOTICE

Delays, cancellations and overbookings may occur on air flights, cruises, and land reservations by the participating carriers and hotel. While Isram will do everything possible to avoid these inconveniences, it cannot and will not assume responsibility for the respective carriers, hotels and cruise lines.
